It’s been a big year for Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort in the movies. The latest release onto the big screen that was filmed in part here at the resort is Warren Miller’s new flick Dynasty.
Check out the trailer here:
Dynasty celebrates 60 years of Warren Miller Films. Narrated by Johnny Moseley and presented in HD, the film blends fresh footage and vintage Miller clips. Hard core Sierra lovers will recognize some of the rock and cliff drops as well as the wide open powder turns in Huckleberry Canyon. There are also plenty of shots from South Shore’s backcountry, including the easily-recognizable Mt. Tallac.
Check out the tour schedule to see the movie in its entirety at a location near you.
Dynasty caps off a pre-season of big screen entertainment that put Sierra-at-Tahoe in the spotlight. Already showing is TransWorld SNOWboarding’s Team Shoot Out, Standard Films Production Black Winter, TWS’s 20 Tricks: Volume 3, and TWS’s Get Real, The Movie.
